Splitting your Excel Workbook into Individual Files

I have been finding myself working in Excel lately these days. I just wanted to share with you a quick hack that I discovered over the internet. Splitting an Excel Workbook into individual worksheets in a matter of seconds. The vba code is based of  Chris Bryson’s Blog! I am made  one tweak from the original code to suit my needs.

Sub Splitbook()
MyPath = ThisWorkbook.Path
For Each sht In ThisWorkbook.Sheets
sht.Copy
ActiveSheet.Cells.Copy
ActiveSheet.Cells.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
ActiveSheet.Cells.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteFormats
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs _
Filename:="C:\Users\YOUR COMPUTER PATH" & "\" & sht.Name & ".EXTENSION OF YOUR CHOICE"
ActiveWorkbook.Close savechanges:=False
Next sht
End Sub

For more details check out Chris Bryson’s Blog. The link is provided at the top of this post.
Cheers!
